Do you remember those little pastel hearts with sweet (sometimes silly) sayings? As a kid, I loved them, not for their chalky taste, but for the fun of reading each tiny message. They were simple and playful, and of course, I’d take them seriously, ha!
As an adult, I see conversation hearts in a new way. They remind me of the mantras and affirmations I try to carry—little reminders to stay grounded, focused, and true to myself.
So, I decided to create my own set of conversation hearts for 2025—words that will keep me on track, help me grow, and encourage me through the year ahead:
❤️ Listen More – Be fully present. Give people the space to share before jumping in with my own thoughts.
💜 Brain Dump – Clear the clutter! Writing things down helps me process, plan, and make room for fresh ideas.
💙 Let Them – A reminder to release control. Let people do what they’re going to do and focus on my own path. (I’m also planning to read Mel Robbins’ new book)
💛 Deep Breaths – Pause. Reset. And give myself the grace of a moment before reacting or rushing ahead.
💚 Eat the Frog – Tackle the most challenging and dreadful task first. Get it done, then enjoy the rest of the day with less stress.
These five thoughts may be small, but they pack a punch. They remind me to stay intentional, balanced, and bold in 2025.
What about you? If you could create your conversation hearts for yourself, what would they say? I’d love to hear!
