about
Davonna, a passionate advocate for promoting positivity, founded Davonna Inc., where she emphasizes inclusiveness and diversity in her business relationships. With a background in marketing, communications, PR, and management, she earned her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at the University of Kentucky after completing her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Georgetown College.
Davonna’s career includes roles in patient advocacy, marketing, public speaking, and executive leadership, showcasing her resilience and adaptability, notably as an Executive Director during the opening of a senior living community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is actively involved in the community and enthusiastically pursues opportunities to “be in the room where it happens” in all matters involving women’s empowerment and equal rights. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Women Leading Kentucky, the Board of the Lexington Forum, and is the Board Chair for the Kentucky Colonels Council of Ambassadors.
In addition to her Davonna Inc. work where she helps clients with marketing, is a motivational speaker and an executive coach, she is a proud partner of Sutherland & Associates, which is a perfect fit, allowing her to showcase her facilitation, mediation, and strategic planning skills and experience. In all aspects of her professional life, she focuses her creative and strategic skills to promote good will and good business throughout Kentucky.
Davonna resides in Central Kentucky with her husband David and their two cats, Linx and Tips.
